Little Big Partners

We partner with social impact organizations around the world to recruit the most passionate and proximate changemakers that can benefit from our curriculum, network, and micro-grants. Below are a few of our network partners.

“Little Big Fund’s mission to equip aspiring social impact leaders to catalyze their ideas, aligns well with our mission to empower nonprofit leaders of Nepal to develop financially sustainable, impact-driven, transparent, and accountable nonprofits. We had a wonderful experience hosting LBF to share about fundraising and grant applications with our students. Knowledge exchange initiatives like these are important to create ripples in the social impact sector in countries like Nepal.”

Kaushal Sapkota, Program Director of the MBA Nonprofit Program at King's College

“At the Sullivan Foundation, we are constantly searching for innovative + experiential ways to engage leaders around social impact. Partnering with Little Big Fund for our annual Ignite Retreat was the perfect opportunity to connect universities in our network with practical tools, curriculum, and activities they can apply around grant-writing and non-profit fundraising. They helped our faculty stretch the way they think about teaching these core concepts in the classroom.”

Spud Marshall, Program Director at the Sullivan Foundation

“Nonprofit Works values its relationship with Little Big Fund by providing training tools and topics to participants and being a resource for information and guidance to help young social entrepreneurs plan, raise funds for, and implement their important missions and programs. After 20-plus years of helping nonprofit organizations of all shapes and sizes with capacity building, Nonprofit Works believes that LBF’s approach to educate students early-on and expose them to the fundamentals of organizational development is an asset to participants and the communities they serve. We presented at a LBF Convening and found participants’ questions and comments to demonstrate a high-level of interest in seeking and learning best practices that will help further their specific causes and programs.”

Paul Mastrodonato, Founder and President of NonProfit Works

“The impact of Little Big Fund has made a profound difference in Watson Institute's program, the social impact initiatives and ventures the scholars are building, and their life trajectories both during and after Watson Institute. Scholars who receive funding are catalyzed to start or continue their work, taking the results from their funding and leveraging it to scale up and seek out more partnerships and funding. Even students who don’t receive funding walk away with a deeper understanding of gaps in their model and how they can be better prepared to secure funding in the future.”

Eric Glustrom, CEO & Founder of Watson Institute

“We Make Change connect ChangeMakers with Social Enterprises online, so that together they can address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. LittleBigFund provided a fun and engaging workshop for eight of our Social Enterprise Members based all around the world from - UK, South Sudan, Kenya, Canada, Guatemala, Portugal, Botswana and Jamaica. Not only did Abhinav and Gayle teach our Members useful tools for how to approach the art of writing grant applications, they also managed to include everyone participating to ensure that the group of diverse participants could also learn from each other. All in all, fun and educational!”

Jens Christian Trier, Chief Operating Officer of We Make Change

“The best resource a nonprofit can receive is the knowledge of how to best represent itself and the community it serves. Little Big Fund provides this resource abundantly, effectively and thoughtfully. Young social entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders are shown how their mission statements are not just words on a paper, but a living agreement of trust and determination with their constituents to improve the quality of their lives and communities.

Virtual Philanthropy was able to observe many other sessions in addition to the ones it hosted and took part in. There was intricate attention to detail, whether in practising networking with donors to how leaders advocate on behalf of their organisations. Participants also learn how lean on each other as resources. All  in all, Little Big Fund offers one of the more impactful approaches to educating future change agents to maximize their efforts and potential.”
